    • 摘要: A projected plasma efavirenz concentration profile of a patient who had been on an orally administered 600 mg daily dose of efavirenz is used as the variable that is a directing lead. A four compartmental model of ordinary differential equations is suggested and solved numerically. This model projects descriptors associated with concentration dispersion subject to trace and bounce constraints. The stimulant-action unit is responsible for directing the bounce. A description of the cross-sectional structure of the quantum is suggested. A dynamical system with an attractive (zero eigenvalue) subspace as a structural state is derived. The structure is an intensity-effect measure. The bounce’s Jacobian Matrix has negative eigenvalues which correspond to A-action-stimulation, S-action-intensity and P-effect-stimulation and these leads govern the structure (C). The three paths, action-stimulation, action-intensity and effect-stimulation lead to the structure of an effect-intensity.

    • 摘要: The attitude regulation problem with bounded control for a class of satellites in the presence of large disturbances,with bounded moving average,is solved using a Lyapunov-like design.The analysis and design approaches are introduced in the case in which the underlying system is an integrator and are then applied to the satellite attitude regulation problem.The performance of the resulting closed-loop systems are studied in detail and it is shown that trajectories are ultimately bounded despite the effect of the persistent disturbance.Simulation results on a model of a small satellite subject to large,but bounded in moving average,disturbances are presented.

    • 摘要: This paper presents a new design of CADEL,a cable-driven elbow-assisting device,with light weighting and control improvements.The new device design is appropriate to be more portable and user-oriented solution,presenting additional facilities with respect to the original design.One of potential benefits of improved portability can be envisaged in the possibility of house and hospital usage keeping social distancing while allowing rehabilitation treatments even during a pandemic spread.Specific attention has been devoted to design main mechatronic components by developing specific kinematics models.The design process includes an implementation of specific control hardware and software.The kinematic model of the new design is formulated and features are evaluated through numerical simulations and experimental tests.An evaluation from original design highlights the proposed improvements mainly in terms of comfort,portability and user-oriented operation.

    • 摘要: Water conservation starts from rationalizing irrigation,as it is the largest consumer of this vital source.Following the critical and urgent nature of this issue,several works have been proposed.The idea of most researchers is to develop irrigation management systems tomeet the water needs of plants with optimal use of this resource.In fact,irrigation water requirement is only the amount of water that must be applied to compensate the evapotranspiration loss.Penman-Monteith equation is the most common formula to evaluate reference evapotranspiration,but it requiresmany factors that cannot be available in many cases.This leads to a trend towards behavior model estimation.System identification with control is one of the most promising applications in this axis.The idea behind this proposal depends on three stages:First,the estimation of reference evapotranspiration(ET0)by a linear ARX model,where temperature,relative humidity,insolation duration and wind speed are used as inputs,and ET0 estimated by Penman-Monteith equation as output.The results show that the values estimated by thismethodwere in good agreement with the measured data.The second part of this paper is tomanage the quantity of water.For this purpose,two controllers are used for testing,lead-lag and PID.To adjust the first controller and optimize the choice of its parameters,Nelder-Mead algorithm is used.In the last part,a comparative study is done between the two used controllers.

    • 摘要: The cochineal, Dactylopius opuntiae, has recently become the main pest that damages the prickly cactus, Opuntia ficus-indica, plants in Morocco. The control methods in which pesticides are used and applied weekly, have generated phytotoxicity, poisoning and high residuality in fresh nopal, which also prevents its commercialization in international markets and the constant risk to human and animal health. Therefore, the use of less aggressive products with a low impact on the environment and is sustainable for the crop, has been introduced without an obvious strategy for gradual control of the insect. This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of Beta vulgaris subsp., Eucalyptus torquata and Cedrus atlantica plant extracts (Eucalyptus leaves, small pieces of beet and Cedrus leaves powdered and macerated in 100 ml of distilled water for 72 h) for controlling of D. opuntiae under laboratory and field conditions. The results show that these extracts constitute a viable alternative for the control of wild cochineal in the nopal. A gradual reduction of cochineal populations was obtained, until after the third application with these extracts, with biological effectiveness of up to 90%. The findings of our study indicate that Beta vulgaris subsp., plant extracts could be used in the development and implementation of a biological control program against D. opuntiae under field conditions.

    • 摘要: The study examined the implication of a decentralized Value Added Tax system for states in Nigeria.It is a theoretical presentation that made is made of journals,articles,and data from the National Bureau of Statistics(NBS)accessed on Google Scholar Websites.A total of eighty(80)articles were accessed.Results from a theoretical review revealed that while few states in Nigeria are in favor of a decentralized VAT administration in the country,quite a number of them(States)are averse to the new VAT regime due to differences among the states in terms of volume of business activities and economic power as many of the states rely on federal allocation.The study,therefore,recommends Partial Decentralization(PD)of VAT administration in Nigeria as a measure of autonomy for states that will guarantee fairness in resource control in the Nigerian Society.

    • 摘要: In order to explore the application effect of the comprehensive control technology of"soil conditioning-organic planting-foliar control"in the rice area of northern Guangdong,the effects of combined application of different dosages of soil conditioner,bio-organic fertilizer and foliar control agent on heavy metal contents and yields of early and late rice were investigated based on field experiments.The results showed that different treatments of early rice and late rice all increased the yield.The yield increase rates of treatments 2,3 and 4 reached 4.9%,7.2%and 8.7%in early rice,respectively,and those in late rice reached 7.7%,7.8%and 9.7%,respectively.And the cadmium contents of early rice and late rice in treatments 2,3 and 4 were significantly reduced below the safe value.Taking into account factors such as cost,yield increase rate,and heavy metal compliance rate,the recommended application rate for early and late rice is conventional fertilization+soil conditioner 6000 kg/hm^(2)+bio-organic fertilizer 1800 kg/hm^(2)+foliar control agent 6000 ml/hm^(2).

    • 摘要: This narrative review aims to highlight some of the factors contributing to challenges faced by many countries in controlling the spread of COVID-19 pandemic that continues to rage around the world,especially after stoppage of official prevention and control activities.A literature search was conducted on PubMed,and Google using search terms“COVID-19”,“challenges”,“prevention”,and“control”in different combinations.COVID-19 prevention and control challenges are related to health-system,vaccines,administration,and society culture.Controlling the spread of COVID-19 necessitates cooperation between community leaders,healthcare professionals,religious leaders,and the public.
