葛浩文《红高粱》译本中方言词汇的翻译策略

摘要

方言词汇是作家们刻画人物形象、还原原文语境和增强作品真实性的重要手段。作为土生土长的山东高密作家，莫言能够娴熟地运用当地方言。其作品《红高粱》通过方言词赋予小说生动的人物形象和丰富的文化特色。译者葛浩文（Howard Goldblatt）在正确理解方言词汇的基础上，采用多种翻译策略，力求再现原文方言词汇的语言效果。基于此，通过实例分析，探讨葛浩文《红高粱》译本中方言词汇的翻译策略。%The vocabulary of dialects is an important method for writers to depict characters,restore the context of original texts, and improve the authenticity of the novel. As a writer born in Gaomi of Shandong Province,Mo Yan can skillfully employ the local dia-lects and his work Red Sorghum make the characters vivid and full of cultural features by dialects. Translator Howard Goldblatt,based on the correct use of dialect vocabulary,employs many translation strategies to restore the lingual effect of the original text. Therefore, this paper discusses the translation strategies in the version of Howard Goldblatt by analysis of examples.
