翻译伦理视角下的典籍英译——《楚辞》国内英译本探析

摘要

Taking four English versions of Chuci in China as research objects, this paper reconsiders the method of English translation of Chinese classics from the perspective of translation ethics in the present macro environment that China＇s economy develops, its international status rises and cultural output becomes important. The paper tries to overcome the limitation of textual analysis and emphasize the whole transmitting effect. First, the brief history of ethical return of translation studies is reviewed. Second, in the aspects of book layout and render of foreignness and from the perspective of translation ethics, the importance of the translation ethics and the enlightenment of ＂thick translation＂ method to English translation of Chinese classics are studied through the exploration of four English versions of Chuci in China.%以《楚辞》的四个国内译本为研究对象，在我国国际影响力提升、文化输出重要性逐渐彰显的大环境下，从翻译伦理的角度重新审视典籍英译的翻译方法，走出文本分析的局限，强调译本的整体传播效果。回顾了翻译学回归伦理探讨的历史，针对译本体例编排和异质转化两个方面，从翻译伦理角度评析近十年来《楚辞》的四个国内译本，突出翻译伦理在典籍英译中的指导作用以及“丰厚翻译”法对今后典籍英译的启迪。
