PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to operate all pixel areas when a wide view angel and a narrow view angle are realized.;CONSTITUTION: Gray expression of each pixel area is performed by the voltage difference between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode of an array substrate(101). A voltage is applied to a common electrode(175) of a color filter substrate(161). The voltage includes a value between the first pixel voltage for the first pixel electrode and the second pixel voltage of the second pixel electrode. Liquid crystal molecules of a liquid crystal layer(190) are operated by IPS(In Plane Switching) due to the voltage difference. Therefore, luminance is increased.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
