PURPOSE: An LCD device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form bars of a black matrixes material on an upper glass substrate and fill a transparent organic insulating layer inside of bars, thereby embodying a narrow viewing angle.;CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate comprises bars(BAR). A viewing angle inside of sub pixels is limited by the bars. A lower substrate faces against the upper substrate. A liquid crystal layer is formed between the upper substrate and lower substrate. A plurality of black matrixes(BM) is formed on A glass substrate(GLS). A plurality of bars is formed between the black matrixes.
