摘要

We have been promoting food education emphasizing on nutrition teaching at the elementary school. We have surveyed and analyzed the eating habits of the pupils of the school, so that we can find out their eating habits and problems, that can be solved in our future education. The results are(1)The pupils who answered to have took satisfactory lunches significant increase from our first survey. About 80% of the pupils didn't leave foods uneaten and who don't feel bad feeling decreased significantly.(2)About 90% of the pupils took their breakfast daily. And the kinds of foods they took increased significantly in our second survey.(3)At their home, the pupils who say thanking words at the beginning and end of eating foods didn't reach 60%.(4)The pupils were interested in food-related activities, and they were trying to work accordingly.(5)More than 80% of the pupils knew “bonito” and “Ainan-gold”, but 21 local food products were known to less than 50% of them. By these findings, we were able to clarify the effects and issues of food and nutrition education at the elementary school.
