基于平行语料库的动词'以为'英译的主观性研究

摘要

基于不同文学作品汉英双语平行语料库, 对动词"以为"的英译状况进行定量和定性分析, 阐述"以为"的认知理解和主观化对等翻译过程.统计发现:译者在使用多种语言手段准确传达"以为"主观性语气的同时, 绝大多数动词"以为"的言者否定主观语气没有在译文中以恰当的语言形式体现出来, 导致翻译过程中原文信息传递的语义和语用亏损.%Based on the Chinese-English bilingual parallel corpus of different literary works, this paper makes a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the present situation of the English translation of the verb yiwei, and expounds the cognitive comprehension of the verb and the translation process of finding the subjective equivalence of the verb.Statistics shows that: During the English translation, various means are applied to precisely convey the subjectivity of the Chinese verb yiwei, while in most examples, the speaker's negative subjective mood reflected in the same verb is not conveyed in a proper way in English, resulting in a loss of semantic and pragmatic information in the process of translation.
