Defamiliarizing devices are very important in bringing about the literariness of literary works and should be completely re- presented in literary translation. The importance of defamiliarizing devices, literary translation' s mission in the New Era, the characteristics of literary translation and the translator' s ethics dictate that it is essential to represent defamiliar- izing devices in the original works.%陌生化手法是造就作品文学性的重要因素,应当在译作中得到完整再现。无论是从陌生化手法的重要作用、新时期文学翻译的任务、文学翻译的特性,还是译者的伦理来看,再现原作的陌生化手法都是极其必要的。
