美国高校生物信息学专业设置变革及其启示

         

摘要

This paper collects the development information of Bioinformatics programs offered by 93 universities in the US, which includes certificate programs, BS, MS, and PhD. The different Bioinformatics programs are studied and analyzed, in terms of their curriculum, changes of program competencies, size of the faculties, current job market needs and salaries, professional skills, employers, student enrollment, employment and other aspects. We propose that curriculum design should adapt to market needs. A healthy interaction mechanism between schools and enterprises should be created, which will be conducive to the construction, reform and development of the related fields and the supply side of the curriculum.%本文收集整理了93所美国高校生物信息学专业的发展信息,主要包括证书课程、学士、硕士和博士学位的基本情况,通过对生物信息专业的不同学院课程设置情况、课程与计划的变化情况、师生规模分析,以及工作机会和薪酬、专业技能、雇主情况等学生入学与就业情况等方面数据分析,提出专业设置主动适应市场发展需求,建立校企良性互动机制的发展策略,对我国的相关专业与课程供给侧的建设、改造和发展有着积极意义。
