为了证明元认知策略的学习者在英语听力学习上更容易取得进步的假设,设计了一个基于实验组对照组实验的统计检验法,通过实践检验证明,元认知策略确实能提高学生的英语听力能力。%To test a hypothesis that a learner who employs metacognitive strategies is easier to get good grades in English listening comprehension than the one who doesn't,this paper designs a statistical testing method based on an experimental group and a control group.The testing result shows that metacognitive strategies help a lot in improving students' English listening skills.
