杜威“生长”观念解读--兼论对我国社会转型期教育的启示

摘要

杜威以隐喻的方式把“生长”引入教育理论的探讨当中，赋予了“生长”新的内涵。在批判传统教育理念的基础上，他用“生长”概念重建了人的发展观和人的心灵观以图与民主社会的教育相契合。“生长”意味着要着力培养学生的探究能力和参与联合生活的能力，这对我国社会转型期的教育具有重要的借鉴意义。%John Dewey put the "growth"introduction to educational theory in a metaphorical way,giving the "growth"new connotation.Based on the criticism of traditional educational ideas,he rebuilt the concept of development and the theory of mind with "growth"concept,in order to meet the needs of education in the democratic society."Growth"means that it is nec-essary to build students'ability to explore and participate in combination lifestyle,which has important reference value for our education in social transformation period.
