多模态话语分析视角下字幕翻译研究——以情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》为例

摘要

随着全球化进程不断加快，影视作品作为一种直观有效的跨文化交流途径，在丰富人们精神生活，促进不同文化交流方面起着越来越突出的作用。近年来，尤其是大量美剧的流行，使得字幕翻译的作用显得越来越重要。影视字幕翻译不是简单的文字转换，而是涉及到源语与目的语语言文化多方面的复杂工程。字幕翻译的好坏、得当与否，很大程度上关系到跨文化交际的成败。再加上字幕翻译的时间与空间限制性，要想做好翻译工作不是那么容易的事情。
　　现阶段，我国影视字幕翻译事业刚刚起步，理论与实践都不够系统与完善，所以影片字幕翻译在很多地方存在很大的缺陷，误译乱译时有发生，不仅没有起到真正的跨文化交际作用，反而将文化误导，这非常不利于不同文化间正确有益的交往。本文从多模态话语分析的角度，以近来很受欢迎的美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》的字幕翻译为语料，借助张德禄教授的多模态话语分析综合理论框架，从文化、语境、内容和表达四个层面分别对《生活大爆炸》字幕翻译文本进行分析探讨。根据不同语境因素和预期功能，分析其字幕的翻译，最后得出多模态话语分析理论在字幕翻译中的优势作用，期望为日后中国的字幕翻译研究提供一个更佳的途径。
　　总之，多模念话语分析理论是字幕翻译研究的一个新途径，希望从多模态出发，对译者选择翻译策略研究给予越来越多的关注，不断将其发展完善，让我国字幕翻译事业发展越来越好，为中国了解世界，世界了解中国提供一个更好的桥梁。
