Many studies and systems that use "pleasure" and "fun" asrninherent elements in games to improve a learner'srnmotivation have been developed in the field of learningrnenvironments. However, there are still few studies ofrnsituations where many learners gather at a singlerncomputer and participate in a game-based learningrnenvironment and where a computer designs the learningrnprocess by controlling the interactions (such asrncompetition, collaboration, and learning by teaching)rnbetween learners and others who are learning byrnobservation alone. Therefore, in this study, we propose arnmethod (involving interaction control between learners)rnthat generates interaction between learners intentionally torncreate a learning opportunity that is based on thernknowledge understanding model of an individual learner.rnIn this paper, we explain a game-based learningrnenvironment called "Who becomes the king in the countryrnof mathematics?”, in which we have incorporated arn"learner support agent" to support each learner and arn"game control agent" to control the game. Furthermore,rnwe report an evaluation experiment of the system whichrnwe carried out in a junior high school.
