This work reports the design and the introductory outcomes of an educative program based on useand construction of widgets at higher education level for engineering. Widgets were generated onthree platforms: Wolfram Alpha, Desmos and Mathtab. Widgets were created for Physics andMathematics curricula under Project Oriented Learning and Blended Learning methodologies. First,widgets generated by teachers are used by students to appropriate basic and middle concepts of eachspecific course. After, students construct their own widgets to generate more complex thinking skills,applying the same concepts but involving different applied situations. Proposed design is based oncurriculum integration to show mathematical, technical and visual representation of problems andconcepts being considered. The design based on Wolfram Alpha, Desmos and Mathtab widgetdevelopers is depicted. Weebly and Jotform tools are combined too to support activities aroundwidgets. Finally, the institutional teachers' training courses associated and current outcomes of theprogram are presented.
