The present invention relates to a health functional fermented drink in which a unique smell of soybean is reduced during fermentation and a method for manufacturing the same. More particularly, soybean milk is manufactured by fermenting crushed soybean in a liquid state with yeast after adding an extract of Dendropanax morbifera or Acanthopanax senticosus, so that the unique malodor of soybean generated during the fermentation is reduced, and aromatic taste and health function are enhanced to provide a method for manufacturing a fermented soybean drink, a fermented soybean drink manufactured thereby, a food composition (specifically drink, diet convenience food, spread, liquid food, etc.) comprising the same, and a method for manufacturing the same.
