Disclosed are a leg spreading method of a walking exoskeleton and a structure. According to the present invention, the leg spreading structure comprises: a rotation shaft which penetrates a shaft pipe of a first link and a shaft pipe of a second link; a rotation preventing means which prevents a rotation of the second link with respect to the first link; and a locking tool which prevents the second link from elevating in the direction of the rotation shaft. According to the present invention, since a user spreads legs of the exoskeleton before wearing the same, the user is able to wear a walking exoskeleton conveniently and stably by approaching to a wearing location easily. In addition, the present invention applies the locking tool for preventing a rotation joint from rotating automatically, thereby preventing accidents caused by malfunctions. Moreover, the present invention has no major change of a structure of existing walking exoskeleton to implement a leg spreading function.
