Education in higher vocational and technical colleges is an important part in college education. There are lots of prob-lems in English education in higher vocational and technical col-leges. This research adopts questionnaire and classroom observa-tion, and selects teachers in Nanchang Normal College to analyze teachers' questioning from the following aspects, the ratio of dis-play questioning and referential questioning, the distribution of questioning, wait-time after questioning, the teachers' feedback and expectations of students, and proposes some suggestions for English teachers and learners to improve the efficiency.%高等职业技术教育是大学教育中很重要的一部分,重在培养操作型和应用型人才.高职英语教育面临诸多问题,本文以南昌师范高等专科学校英语教师的课堂为例,通过课堂观察与学生问卷调查来进行实证研究,从教师的展示性问题与参考性问题的比例、教师提问的分布、问题提出后等待时间、教师的反馈及学生的期待进行分析,从中提出课堂中教师提问存在的不足之处及改进办法.
