Humanistic education is a comprehensive education focusing on imparting knowledge and improving humanistic quality, so it is an indispensable part in the education system, and this paper analyzes the importance of improving the human-istic quality education of engineering university students. With e-conomic development, the severe employment situation has changed the market demands for talents from the previous talents with a single skill to comprehensive talents, which requires that university students should possess occupational skills and good humanistic quality. So China proposes that the education of uni-versity students, especially engineering university students, should be optimized from both internal and external aspects, and the positive role of humanistic education should be played.%本文分析了提高工科类院校大学生的人文素养教育的重要性，人文素养教育是注重传授知识、提高人文素养的综合性教育，是育人体系中不可缺少的一部分。随着经济的发展，在严峻的就业形势下，市场对人才的需求已经发生了改变，由过去的单一性技术人才转变成为综合性的人才，要求大学生应当具备职业技能与良好的人文素质，对工科类院校大学生的教育要优化内外，发挥人文教育的积极作用。
