Layout of mechanical products, tools, tooling in 3D assembly simulation is prerequiste to verify the assembly process simulation. For the information integrity of the assembly modeling and manageability of the model data under virtual environment,the data model with assembly features is used to establish a tree shaped assembly structure which is used to associate the assembly features with the parts,tools, tooling and products. In order to accurately define and arrange the layout of products,tools,tooling,a real time method is used to pick up and analyze the geometry data with the assembly features. The method is characteristic of sim ̄ple and quick operation, high real-time and easy modification of the scene layout. The generated three-dimensional scene file is used in integrated 3D simulation and verification of the subsequent assembly tool and tooling. In the prototype system,the practicality of this method is verified.%机械产品、工具、工装在三维装配仿真场景中布局是装配过程仿真验证的前提,针对虚拟环境下装配模型的信息完整性和模型数据的易管理性,采用具有装配特征的数据模型,建立树形的装配组织结构,将装配特征与零件,工具、工装与产品互相关联。为了产品、工具、工装相互位置的精确定义与布局,采用实时拾取这些对象的装配特征,同时解析装配特征的几何数据,满足场景布局操作快速简便、实时性高、易于修改的需求。产生的三维场景文件将用于后续工具,工装集成的三维装配仿真与验证。开发的原型系统验证方法的实用性。
