《论语》英译简史

摘要

The Analects is one of the most important classics of Confucianism. Since the publication of the first English version in 1809, there have been 29 unabridged English translations of this classic. This paper gives a brief introduction to these English versions and their translators.%《论语》是儒家的经典著作之一。自1809年首个英译本问世至今，已经产生了29个全译本。本文结合史料，对这些译本和译者的情况进行了简单介绍。
