场独立-场依存认知风格与大学英语学习的相关性研究

摘要

英语学习者的场独立与场依存的认知方式与英语学习的关系的实证研究结果表明,镶嵌图形测试的成绩与被试者的英语成绩呈正相关性;场综合型的学生在英语水平测试中得分最高,场依存型的学生得分最低。其对外语教学的主要启示是教师应区别对待不同认知风格学生,为每个学生提供自主选择和发展的机会;鼓励学生在完善自己首选认知方式的同时,整合和发展另一种认知方式,实现英语学习最优化。%This essay focuses on the relationship of field dependent-independent cognitive styles to College English Learning by conducting research among 50 freshmen in a college. It turns out that college students have their special features in the FI/FD cognitive style. Then it puts forward that teachers should distinguish students of independent congnitive style from those of dependent cognitive style and encourage them to combine the two styles in order to learn English perfectly.
