从译者主体性看文学作品翻译中的文化误读——以霍克斯的《红楼梦》译本为例

摘要

Cultural difference inevitably leads to misreading between cultures through the display of the translator＇ s subjectivity. The translator is a subject of translation and a subject of the society. Cultural factors from the social context such as the historical and political environment the translator lives in, the current ethical and aesthetic values, and the unique national cultural images are all imposed on the translator and brought into effects through his translation practice, and thereby leading to cultural misreading in translation.%文化的差异性决定不同文化之间的误读是一种客观存在,译者主体性的发挥是翻译中文化误读成为现实的先决条件,社会文化系统中的诸多因素如历史政治背景、审美情趣、道德观念以及文化意象的表达浓缩在译者身上,通过他的翻译实践产生影响,造成翻译中的文化误读现象。
