Taking the subtitle translation in ＂Ice Age3＂ as example, the text is analyzed with Nida＇s functional equivalence theory. The strategies that translator employed in this text are introduced to offer a reference for movie subtitle translation.%文章以电影《冰河世纪3》翻译为例,试图在奈达的功能对等理论指导下分析电影字幕翻译,介绍译者在功能对等原则的指导下采用的翻译技巧,探索功能对等理论对电影字幕翻译的指导作用。
