Researches on the educational games-supported inquiry teaching

Educational games can be very effectively applied in many learning situations and attract learners, so students are able to complete the study in a happy mood, in addition, now inquiry learning, an important way of learning, is widely accepted. In this paper, features of inquiry learning and the related theories of educational games are analyzed, also advantages, functions and the scope of educational games in the inquiry learning are analyzed. On this basis, the characteristics that educational games-supported inquiry teaching should owned and how to put them into practice are set forth, and problems which ought to be noted in educational games-supported inquiry teaching are as well as put forward finally.
