    • 摘要: Emerging evidence indicated that the increase in food allergy(FA)over the past few decades was associated with the abnormal compositional and metabolic changes of gut microbiota.Gut microbiota played a vital role in maintaining the homeostasis of the immune system and the dysbiosis of gut microbiota promoted the occurrence of FA.Recent research suggested that short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs),the main metabolites derived from gut microbiota,contributed to FA protection.Herein,we provided a comprehensive review on the relationship between gut microbiota and FA.The multifaceted mechanisms underlymg beneficial effects of gut microbiota composition/metabolites on the regulation of diverse cellular pathways in intestinal epithelial cells,dendritic cells,innate lymphoid cells,T cells,B cells and mast cells in the immune system were discussed systematically.These findings emphasized the positive function of gut microbiota in FA and provided novel ideas for the treatment or prevention of FA in the future.

    • 摘要: The goals of this study were to determine the weekly milk production of Saanen goats at UniSZA Pasir Akar Farm,and to evaluate milk production and composition in three age groups.From January 2021 to May 2021,a study was conducted at the UniSZA Pasir Akar Farm in Besut,Terengganu.Ninety goat milk samples were collected and stored in sterile falcon tubes.Milk samples were stored in an insulated box at 5°C before being transported to the laboratory and stored at-20°C until further analysis.Milk samples were analyzed in four replicates for each sample group using the Milkotester.The one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)method was used to analyze raw data among age groups,with p<0.05 indicating a significant difference.The highest milk yield was produced by four-year-old goats(943.9 g/d),followed by three-year-old goats(850.5 g/d)and two-year-old goats(571.1 g/d),respectively.Solid non-fat(SNF),protein,and lactose content showed the highest in percentage in the 3-year old group,at 7.80%,2.80%,and 4.27%,respectively.However,the fat content revealed an unusual pattern,with 2.87%,2.77%,and 3.33%representing 2,3 and 4 years old.This occurred due to other factors such as feed,breed,and age.In conclusion,this study found a significant difference in milk yield and composition across three age groups.However,this is only a preliminary result based on a small number of animals and a short study period.Future studies will perhaps,use larger sample sizes and parameters to validate the current result.

    • 摘要: At present,the stability of the new generation of solar cells based on hybrid perovskites is the bottleneck for their practical applications.Photochemical effects,high temperature,ultraviolet light,humidity and other known or still unknown factors might cause reduction of effectiveness or even irreversible loss of materials properties due to decomposition of functional layers within perovskite solar cells(PSCs).These factors alone have a serious impact on each component of the device,while their combinations lead to much more complicated effects and consequences.This review focuses on the stability of PSCs and the degradation of the device in a humid environment.We assess the instability factors and deep-seated principles of evolution of the device structure in a humidity environment with the emphasis on the influence on their interrelations.The related solutions are reviewed from the perspective of the encapsulation,perovskite active layer,carrier transport layer and electrodes.Combined with the latest research,we believe that the waterproof strategy of PSCs requires either tight encapsulation or thorough modifications in the device itself.Therefore,it is important to develop feasible strategies to improve the overall device stability over humid according to the target characteristics of various devices.

    • 摘要: BACKGROUND Treatment alliance has an impact on several key patient outcomes in all psychiatric disorders,including bipolar disorder(BD).It has been suggested that the construct of treatment alliance is different among patients from routine psychiatric settings compared to psychotherapeutic settings.However,research on the composition of treatment alliance in psychiatric disorders,such as BD,is relatively limited.AIM To determine whether a broader construct of treatment alliance was prevalent among outpatients with BD.METHODS This is a cross-sectional study,conducted in the psychiatric unit of a multispecialty hospital in north India over 12 mo(September 2018 to September 2019).A consecutive sample of 160 remitted adult outpatients with BD on mood stabilizers for at least a year were selected.The principal instrument to assess treatment alliance was the Working Alliance Inventory-client version(WAIClient).Other potential constituents of the alliance explored were perceived trust in clinicians assessed by the Trust in Physicians(TRIP)scale,perceived support from clinicians assessed by the Psychosocial Care by Physicians(PCP)scale,and perceived treatment satisfaction assessed by the Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire(PSQ).Associations between scores on all scales were determined by correlational and multiple regression analyses.Exploratory factor analysis of combined items of all scales was conducted using a principal components analysis.RESULTS Scores on all the three WAI-Client subscales were significantly correlated with each other(r=0.66-0.81;P<0.0001).The total TRIP scores were associated with the total WAI-Client scores(r=0.28;P<0.01).The total TRIP scores and the total PCP scores were also significantly associated with the WAI-Client scores on the Task subscale(r=0.28-0.29;P<0.01).The total TRIP scores were significantly associated with the total PSQ scores(r=0.45;P<0.0001).Factor analysis yielded two independent and coherent factors,which explained 69%of the variance in data.Factor-1(“alliance and support”),which explained about 41%of the variance,was comprised of a combined WAI-Client goal-task-bond component as well as the PCP support items.Factor-2(“trust and satisfaction”),which explained about 28%of the variance,consisted of all the TRIP trust and the PSQ treatment satisfaction items.CONCLUSION A broader construct of treatment alliance in BD was found.Apart from collaborative components,this construct included patients’perceptions regarding trust in clinicians,support from clinicians,and treatment satisfaction.

    • 摘要: Dissolved organic matter(DOM)plays a vital role in promoting carbon and nutrient cycling.It is a food source for organisms and controls the migration and transformation of trace metals and other contaminants in aquatic systems.The contributions of aquatic DOM to the environment and ecology of a system are closely related to its abundance and chemical structure.In this study,the chemical composition and binding properties of DOM in a hypersaline lake watershed were investigated for the fi rst time using dissolved organic carbon(DOC)analysis,absorption spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,pyrolysis-GC-MS(Py-GC-MS),and fl uorescence parallel factor(PARAFAC)analysis combined with Pb(II)titration techniques.The results showed that DOM from the tributaries that fl owed into the lake had a lower DOC content,higher molecular weight,and higher specifi c UV absorbance than the DOM in lake water.Protein-like fl uorophores were mainly found in tributary and lake surface water DOM(LSDOM)and humic-like substances were abundant in lake groundwater DOM(LGDOM).Using this multi-methodological approach,we found that the DOM from the hypersaline lake watershed was mainly from microbial origins,and consisted of aromatics,carbohydrates,and aliphatics.The results from quantitative analysis showed that DOM from the infl owing tributaries contained more aromatics,lower carbohydrates,and lower aliphatics than DOM in the lake.Monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and carbohydrates were more abundant in LSDOM than LGDOM.The results from the Pb(II)titration technique coupled with PARAFAC analysis suggested that PARAFAC-derived components had relatively low condition stability constants(log K_(M)<2).Of the two types of lake DOM,the LGDOM had a higher Pb(II)binding potential than the LSDOM.From this study we have improved our understanding of how DOM within a hypersaline lake watershed varies in its composition and potential to bind with metals.

    • 摘要: The authors analyze phytoplankton diversity of a small urban wetland of Meghalaya to assess biodiversity and limnology interest of small water bodies.This“slightly acidic-circumneutral,demineralized and soft water”subtropical wetland reveals diverse phytoplankton(64 species),indicates high desmid richness and highlights the speciose littoral constellations of up to 55-58 species per sample.Phytoplankton comprises dominant quantitative component of net plankton and registers Charophyta dominance;Chlorophyta>Bacillariophyta>Dinozoa>Chrysophyta>Cyanobacteria depict sub-dominance,and Euglenozoa and Cryptophyta show poor abundance at the littoral and semi-limnetic regions.The richness of phytoplankton and abundance of phytoplankton,Charophyta,Chlorophyta,Dinozoa,Chrysophyta and Cyanobacteria follow bimodal spatio-temporal variations.Closterium,Cosmarium,Staurastrum,Micrasterias,Netrium,Staurodesmus and Scenedesmus are notable genera,and 14 species collectively influence phytoplankton abundance.Phytoplankton registers high species diversity,lower dominance and high evenness.Amongst 15 abiotic factors,only the rainfall and sulphate exert notable influence individually,while the canonical correspondence analysis registers lower cumulative influence of the selected 10 factors on the littoral and semi-limnetic phytoplankton assemblages.This study merits interest for neglected biodiversity and ecology of small aquatic biotopes of India and urban wetlands in particular.

    • 摘要: Photoprotection effect of the hyaluronic acid and ectoine composition was studied by evaluated its effects on inhibiting oxidative stress and MMP-1 production,ROS scavenging ability and promoting collagen synthesis in skin cells under blue light irradiation.The result show that the composition is non-toxic to keratinocytes within a concentration of 5%.And the sample can significantly inhibit the increase of reactive oxygen species(ROS)caused by blue light irradiation at a concentration of 2%,and can also repaire the damaged skin by scavenge oxygen free radicals.At the same time,the composition can inhibit the increase of MMP-1 caused by blue light irradiation,so as to have the effect of inhibiting the decomposition of collagen and promoting the secretion of Collagen I.

    • 摘要: Cave 254 of the Mogao Grottoes is one of the most representative grottoes from the Northern Wei Dynasty.The painting of"Laying Down Oneself to Feed the Tiger"on the south wall of the grotto has high artistic value.With changing dynasties and the development of time,the original appearance of the painting has changed.In particular,the color of the whole cave has undergone a subversive change,resulting in many misunderstandings.In this article,the composition,colors,and lines of the painting,"Laying Down Oneself to Feed the Tiger"are discussed in view of the cxirrent situation of the cave,and the work is approached from the perspective of painting.The concept of different times of the same painting,its precise and unique layout,as well as development peak of"Laying Down Oneself to Feed the Tiger"are expounded.In this article,the unique artistic level of this mural in the Northern Dynasty is demonstrated along with its importance for present paintings.

    • 摘要: Increased environmental pollution due to the organic wastes over the world is one of the most burning issues.These organic wastes lie under the category of biodegradable waste and can be effectively degraded from their complex compound into simple one by the action of microbes or other living organisms.Moreover,lignocellulosic biomass is a major part of the biodegradable waste and belongs to the group of renewable energy source,which can be very effective for bioenergy production.Biomasses are made up of different compounds such as cellulose,hemicelluloses,lignin and protein.Apart from these components,based on the structural analysis biomass also consist of bioactive substances such as carotenoids,flavonoids,lignin and antioxidants.This review explores a complete overview of the classification,component and the structure of the biomass.Moreover,it discusses how biomasses can play the key role of substrate in many sectors such as industrial bioenergy production including gaseous and liquid biofuels.
