Transportable apparatus for obtaining vegetable carbon or other organic materials and distillable products originating from carbonization

The transportable apparatus comprises two containers or storage vessels for carbonization so that when one is carbonizing, the other is being charged. The containers tip, to assist discharging and charging. A furnace hearth can be readily moved from one container to the other so that carbonization is not delayed. By coupling a condenser with its components to the outlet for gases, advantage can be taken of distillable products originating in the carbonization. Being mounted on rubber tyres the equipment is convenient and can be towed by an agricultural tractor.
