PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnosing device capable of suppressing influence by variation of cycle parameter, and predicting or diagnosing failure of a refrigerating cycle with high accuracy without complicating criteria to diagnose the failure.;SOLUTION: This failure diagnosing device 200 predicts or diagnoses the failure of devices constituting a refrigerating cycle circuit 100 on the basis of one or a plurality of cycle parameters indicating a state of the refrigerating cycle. After the termination of an operation of special control in which the balance of the refrigerating cycle is varied, a normal heating/cooling operation is continued, and the failure of the refrigerating cycle circuit is predicted or diagnosed only for a second prescribed time when the refrigerating cycle after the lapse of the first prescribed time defined according to the special control, is stabilized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
