Producing carrier substance comprises: (a) providing an aqueous solution containing water kefir culture; (b) separating wet water kefir grains (100) from the aqueous solution; (c) carrying out first drying process of wet water kefir grains; and (d) enriching the dried water kefir grains with an enrichment substance. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a carrier substance prepared by the above method; and (2) a container for the carrier substance.
