Minority Management Training Program in Rural Eldercare Service Delivery:Allocating and Generating Resources Training Manual

The Minority Management Training Manual has been developed as an instrument to beused in training minority managers to effectively administer Eldercare Services and Programs to rural and minority elderly. The training provides a comprehensive overview in the areas of Management Functions, Stress Management, Home and Community Based Services, SSI and Entitlements, and Proposal Writing and Grant Development. The modules on Management Functions and Proposal Writing and Grant Development are critical, in that they provide participants with the knowledge needed to effectively and appropriately facilitate the development and implementation of services for the rural and minority elderly. The Stress Management, Home and Community Based Services, and SSI and Entitlements modules are necessary in order that minority managers have a thorough understanding of the programs and services they are responsible for and their impact on the elderly.
