摘要

Simulation has become a widely used tool for training and for research on human interaction with complex work and learning environments. The richness in the use of simulations to support learning is clearly documented in the theoretical literature and in numerous research projects. However, the use of simulations in the field of teacher education is very rare. This article discusses the design and development of a simulation for teacher education. We argue that a simulation engine should be developed using an empirically tested model. An extensive review of the literature finally revealed an appropriate empirical model for our simulation SEsim.
