In this paper, a new method for evaluating output frequencynresponses of nonlinear systems under multiple inputs, defined as a sumnof sinusoids of different frequencies, is developed. The methodncircumvents difficulties associated with the existingn“frequency-mix vector” based approaches and can easily benapplied to investigate nonlinear behaviors of practical systems,nincluding electronic circuits, at the system simulation and designnstages. Application of the method to the analysis of nonlinearninterference and distortion effects in communication receivers isnstudied, and specific procedures are proposed which can be directly usednin practice for this analysis
