中英文药品说明书“注意事项”的人际功能对比分析

Halliday M.A.K在系统功能语法中指出,人们之间的交流主要是通过语言的三大原功能之一——人际功能来实现,而人际功能的实现要通过语气和情态两种手段。本文拟从语气和情态两方面对比分析中英文药品说明书的注意事项,意在揭示中外药品商在通过注意事项这种小语篇与患者建立沟通时是否存在差异。通过研究发现,在通过语篇与患者进行交流时,英文＂注意事项＂习惯用语气系统下的祈使句和情态系统下的表可能,义务、情态的多种句式,而中文＂注意事项＂更倾向于使用告知内容和表意态句式。%According to Halliday's systemic functional grammar,interactions between people are realized by interpersonal function,mainly by two aspects:mood and modality.This article analyzes two warnings of English and Chinese medicine instructions through mood and modality to see the different purposes of addressers.The article shows that there are rich sentence structures in the English warning,such as the expression of probability,obligation,and inclination,while only the expression of giving information and inclination can be found in the Chinese warning.
