The rapid developing economic and scientific status of China call upon the increase of talents with higher standards of international competitiveness,which also demand college English to keep abreast of the times.The survey aims at investigating how CBI teaching approach affects the attitudes of the students'in Fan Gongxiu Honors College when learning English.The re-searcher exploits a comparative study between the control group with traditional teaching method and the experimental group with CBI.A positive result has been shown by the test of CBI group.With what has been said,CBI shall have positive meaning to col-lege English revolution especially for those engineering students.%中国飞速发展的经济与科技水平要求大学输送具有更高国际化水平的大学生,因此大学英语教育应与时俱进,不断改革.该文的研究目的是探讨CBI(内容依托式教学)模式在北京工业大学樊恭烋学院的英语教学效果,研究方法则是将采用接受传统教学对照组与实行CBI教学实验组进行对比,结果表明CBI教学明显提高了实验组学生学习英语的积极性.因此,CBI教学模式对大学英语教学改革,尤其是工科学生英语的提高具有现实和推广意义.
