浅析非语言语境对文学翻译《爱玛》的影响

摘要

非语言语境作为语境的一个重要分支，在文学翻译中起着重要的作用。该文以简·奥斯汀小说《爱玛》的三个中文译本为例，从以下三个方面分析了非语言语境对文学翻译的影响：1）原作者的意图；2）人物特征；3）人物之间的关系。文章对应这三方面摘取了中文译本作为例证进行对比分析，体现文学翻译中非语言语境的重要作用，同时也为文学作品的翻译提供了一个新的视角。%Non-linguistic context, as an important branch of context, plays a significant role in literary translation. This paper takes three Chinese versions of Jane Austen’s Emma as an example to analyze the effect of non-linguistic context on literary translation from three aspects:1) the author’s intention;2) the protagonists’characteristics;3) the relationship between the char⁃acters. Through analyzing and comparing the examples selected from the Chinese versions, this paper elaborates the significance of non-linguistic context for literary translation, which offers a new perspective for literary translation practice.
