The original surface morphology and the worn surface morphology of static ring end-face of mechanical seal was analyzed by metallographic microscope. The wear form and the differences between inner diameter and outer diameter were obtained. The contact stress and temperature field distribution on the seal end-face are analyzed by means of simulation. The influences of rotating speed, medium pressure and other conditions on end-face contact stress and temperature field are also analyzed by means of ANSYS software platform. The effect of end-face contact stress and temperature variation on the properties of wear was verified. The wear mechanism of mechanical seal was expounded.%对比分析了机械密封静环端面原始表面和磨损表面形貌,得到了磨损形式和内外径磨损差异;仿真分析了密封端面接触应力及温度场,分析了转速、 介质压力等条件对端面接触应力和温度场的影响;探明了端面接触应力和温度变化对磨损性能的影响,阐述了机械密封的磨损机理.
