中外期刊论文英文摘要第一人称使用对比研究

摘要

选取中外120篇英语学术期刊论文的英文摘要建成语料库,采用定量定性相结合的方法, 将中国英语学习者和本族语使用者在期刊论文摘要中第一人称的使用情况进行对比研究. 研究发现, 中国英语学习者在英文摘要第一人称使用方面与本族语使用者存在显著差异,中国英语学习者倾向于少用或不用第一人称代词,以表示客观;而本族语使用者多使用第一人称来表露个人观点.%Combining quantitative and qualitative analysis, the paper uses a corpus consist of 120 English ab-stracts from English journal articles written by Chinese English learners as well as native English speakers in order to compare the usage of first personal pronouns in English journals.The retrieval and statistical analysis reveals that Chinese English learners generally tend to avoid using the first personal pronouns in abstracts to ensure objectivity, while native English speakers have a comparatively higher rate to use them to indicate personal opinions.
