文化育人是高校图书馆的职责与核心功能

摘要

Educating people with culture is the life of universities and inheriting culture is the responsi-bilities and missions of higher education institutions .University libraries have assumed a vital role in educating people with culture and inheriting culture .Therefore ,university libraries should pay atten-tion to culture construction ,namely optimizing the structure of books ,improving the design of read-ing environment and determining core values of libraries so as to make a good job of inheriting culture and educating people with culture .%文化育人是大学的生命，文化传承是高等学府的职责与使命，高校图书馆承担了文化育人、文化传承的重要职责。为此，高校图书馆应注重文化建设，即优化藏书结构、搞好阅读环境设计、确定图书馆核心价值观，使文化传承、文化育人落到实处。
