影响中国大学生全英慕课学习的障碍因子及其对策研究

摘要

研究表明,影响中国大学生学习全英慕课的障碍因子主要有七个:学术及语言技能;互联网技能;课程指导及管理;学习动机;社会性交互;学习成本;时间及支持.有四个自变量能够显著影响中国大学生学习者对各障碍因子的评分:学习享受感、自我效能感、学习效率和英语熟练水平,其中英语熟练水平被认为是最为影响中国学习者对各障碍因子严重程度认知的自变量.据此,我们可以通过增设专门用途英语这类过渡性课程来减轻学习者的学习障碍.%The study identified seven obstacles to Chinese college students′ learning of MOOC in English context: academic and language skills;internet skills;course instruction and management;learning motivation;cost of learning;time and support.Four independent variables significantly affect the learner′s rating of each obstacle in terms of severity: learning enjoyment,self-efficacy,learning effectiveness,and English proficiency level.Among them,the English proficiency level is regarded as the variable that affects the students′ rating of obstacle severity the most.According to the situation,the researcher suggests that ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses can be used as a way to help alleviate students′ learning obstacles.
