Moking the city livable, becomes important to solve one of the options for sustainable development of the city. Based on the analysis and evaluation of livability of Putian City in Fujian Province. the paper studies characteristics of the city's edge. and then proposes appropriate measures livable city planning, and with "second five" key construction projects planning to determine,so the city can not only adapt to economic and social development, and to maintain the existing geographical and environmenta features to achieve the goal of sustainable development hoping to provide experience for other similar cities livable small cities in the practice of building.%宜居城市的提出,成为解决城市可持续发展的重要选择之一.该文通过对福建省莆田市宜居性进行分析评价,研究探讨城市的优势特色,进而提出相应的宜居城市规划对策,并结合"十二五"规划编制确定重点建设项目,使城市能既适应经济社会发展的需要,又保留原有的地域与环境特色,实现可持续发展的目标,希望能为其他类似中小城市的宜居城市建设实践提供经验.
