The religious architecture is a carrier of human ideology. Both the eastern and western religious cultures reach the same goal in different means, with rare similar applications of symbols in the architecture system. Based on the arrangement of historical data and systematical induction, comparative study method has been employed to illustrate the cross framework in the architectural space, cross skeleton in the architectural structure, cross pattern in the architectural decoration, as well as the symbolic meaning of its variations from the three common characteristics of Christian, Buddhism and Islam, aiming at combing the mysterious intercommunity of the cultural symbols and its influence on architectural art of different religious contexts systematically.%宗教建筑是人类意识形态的载体.东西方宗教文化殊途同归,宗教建筑型制在符号的运用上也具有鲜见的一致性.该文基于史料整理与系统归纳,采取比较研究的方法,主要从基督教、佛教、伊斯兰3类古代宗教建筑的共同特质入手,分别阐述其建筑空间的十字格局、建筑构造的十字骨架、建筑装饰的十字纹样及其变体的象征寓意等,系统梳理不同宗教语境下文化符号的神秘共通性及对建筑艺术的影响.
