建文朝历时四年，一场靖难之役引发的不仅仅是皇位更迭。对这场战争爆发的原因，学界历来有不同的观点。固然，靖难之役首先是一场军事战争，但皇位更替带来的是权力中枢的巨大变化，战争的过程和结果必然导致交战双方的将领、士兵、管理机构（都司卫所）、戍守驻地和待遇等的一系列变化。受此影响，永乐朝政治也打上了浓重的“后建文时代”的烙印。洪武朝形成的明代都司卫所管理体制和北边防御体系等，经历明初政局变化，均发生了巨大变革，并对明代以后二百余年的国家防御格局和战略产生了深远的影响。%The 4 years lifetime Emperor Jianwen′s ended by"Jingnan Incident". It was more than alternation of throne which arose by the incident. As always, there are various reasons about the outbreak of this incident in academic circles. Indeed, "Jingnan Inci⁃dent" was a military war. Nevertheless, the alternation of throne brought a great change of power center, and the process and conse⁃quence of the war certainly led a series of profound changes to the generals, soldiers, the military organizations ( Dusi Wei-suo) , mili⁃tary strongholds, and their treatment. Influenced by this, Emperor Yongle′s politics had been branded with"post-Jianwen era". Many great changes happened to military systems which formed in Emperor Hongwu′s period, such as the Dusi Wei-suo administrate system and the north border defense system, etc. And the incident also impacted deeply the defense situation of the later 200 years.
