电影《银河护卫队》字幕翻译中的幽默缺失与补偿策略

摘要

幽默普遍存在于各个国家以及文化中，但是不同国家不同文化背景下的人却很难分享幽默。同样，在字幕翻译的过程中，幽默的缺失也是不可避免的。翻译研究者们一直以来对字幕翻译进行了大量的研究，并积累了丰富的经验，但是长期以来却忽略了对于字幕翻译中幽默部分的研究，这与其在影视翻译中所占据的重要地位极不相称。
　　相较于普通文字含义的直接表达，幽默文字的含义表达在翻译时会出现很严重的缺失。大部分学者从关联论、功能翻译论以及语用论等方面，对字幕翻译中的幽默翻译进行了研究，却很少有学者对字幕翻译中幽默的缺失和补偿策略给予足够的关注。
　　幽默的特点是通过引发笑声来起到娱乐或讽刺的作用，因此在字幕翻译中幽默翻译的首要任务就是保留原文的功能。然而基于不同的语言文化背景，要同时做到忠于原文，又保留其功能是几乎不可能实现的。本文作者在其他学者已做研究的基础上，结合文献综述和案例分析，试图对字幕翻译中造成幽默缺失的主要原因——语言差异和文化差异进行更深一步的研究，同时提出了实用的补偿策略。
