基于回译的英语专业汉译英翻译教学研究初探

摘要

本文着重分析回译在英语专业汉译英翻译教学中的应用。回译是翻译的一种特殊形式，回译应用于汉译英翻译教学，是将中文译本作为翻译材料，通过比较英文原著和学生英文译本，学生可以全方位地对比英汉语语言，并在操练翻译的过程中，积累英文语料，寻求双语间的对应关系，从而自身的英语语言能力和翻译能力。将回译应用于翻译教学，吸收了教育和翻译理论的相关理念，包括对比分析法的比较法、多元系统理论的系统观，错误分析理论的错误刺激。
　　英语专业汉译英翻译课程不同于一般英语课程和英译汉课程，注重英语的适用性教学，目的在于引导学生理解和掌握英语习惯的表达用法；教学对象英语基础较扎实，对于课程有更高的需求。传统课程从字、词、句的翻译入手，讲解翻译技巧，并不利于培养学生的篇章意识，并不能真正提高学生翻译能力。回译的双项比较利于学生更深理解汉英双语差异；鼓励反思回译文与英语原文不同背后的原因，探讨影响翻译的多元因素；提倡篇章翻译，利于学生篇章意识的养成；回译文本丰富，包括信息性文本和文学性文本，可以丰富教学内容；回译翻译课堂，可以阶段性展开，并进行专题式研究。
