后殖民翻译理论下的外宣翻译研究——以2015年《北京周报》英文版为例

摘要

自鸦片战争以来，中国出现大规模的文学和文化翻译，其影响远远不仅局限于文学或文本层面，这些作品的译介几乎是以中国文化和语言的全盘西化为代价的。经过改革开放三十年的发展，中国作为世界大国的地位已在世界范围内得到认可，而对外文化宣传方面仍然比较欠缺。文化作为国家软实力的重要组成部分，对外文化翻译能力即是国际传播能力的重要组成部分。
　　目前，我国已经从侧重对内译介西方文化与文明转为侧重对外译介中国文化和文明，结合我国“走出去”战略力度的进一步加大，外宣翻译的需求也势必同步增长。基于我国翻译服务业的历史背景以及发展现状，本文以《北京周报》为例，拟在后殖民翻视域下对我国外宣翻译策略进行探讨，以期促进我国在国际舞台上的发展。在新时期背景下，我国外宣翻译应坚持以下三大翻译策略，即归化、异化与混杂。
　　本研究拟采用文献研究法、例证法、引证法与跨学科研究法相结合。本文从文化的视角来进行外宣翻译研究，不再局限于研究语言的形式机械属性，突显出语言的社会文化属性。
　　外宣翻译作为一种跨文化交际行为，是不同文化之间的协调者，并对文化传播与国家发展具有能动干预作用。在当今全球化背景下，外宣翻译必须打破异化与归化之间的二元对立，并从混杂中吸收养分，最终实现世界文化多元一体化的格局。本文所论后殖民文化翻译是指弱势文化对强势文化的翻译。本文所用理论仅用于此研究中的翻译实践分析。
