创造性叛逆视角下葛浩文中国文学翻译个案研究

摘要

由于不同民族间语言及文化差异的存在，不同语言的使用者在相互交流的过程中无法避免地会遭遇一些信息的丢失、添加以及失真。法国著名文学社会学家罗伯特·埃斯卡皮提出“翻译总是一种创造性叛逆”。谢天振教授认为它道出了翻译、尤其是文学翻译的实质。创造性叛逆肯定译者的主观能动性，即在再现原作价值的同时“创造性”地克服翻译中存在的障碍，最终实现更高层次的“忠实”。
　　葛浩文作为中国现当代文学首席翻译家，一向重视翻译中的语言文化差异与译入语读者的接受能力，并洞悉翻译之“忠实性再创造”的本质。本文试图从创造性叛逆的角度以葛浩文译的莫言小说《师傅越来越幽默》英译本为例对葛浩文文学翻译中的忠实性再创造进行研究。在讨论创造性叛逆的类型及其产生的原因的基础上，从语言、语篇和文化这三个层次借助实例分析，探究葛浩文中国文学翻译中的“忠实”与“叛逆”。
