We designed a novel hybrid peptide consisting of cell-membrane-penetrating and Heat Shock Protein 90 (Hsp90)-targeted sequences. Structure-based mimicry to disrupt the interaction between Hsp90 and the TPR2A domain of Hop was demonstrated, as were the efficacies in vitro and in vivo of this peptide drug against cancer.
