This paper reports new measurement method to detect ppb level of non-charged organic substances using lipid/polymer membrane sensor. We discovered that non-charged organic substances have great influences on the adsorption of positively charged lipid as adsorbent to negatively charged membrane. Oil and endcrine disrupting chemicals (Di-2-ethylhexylphthalate) have a influence (suppression effect on the adsorption of plus charged lipid in solution to this minus charged lipid membrane). Sensor output is change of membrane potential caused by interaction among lipid membrane, non-charged substances and lipid in solution. This new method has a possibility of detection of a trace amount of non-charged toxic substances.
