The academic library serves a diverse population of users, from incoming freshmen to graduate students completing dissertations, to faculty creating and disseminating knowledge within their disciplines. As academic librarians, we strive to assist with the research process at every level. The genesis of this research project was the authors' desire to create evidence-based library programming for graduate students. This is a population that is often overlooked in library instructional programming, much of which focuses on teaching research skills to the undergraduate.
