To reproduce traveling on actual road with good accuracy in a chassis dynamometer device that tests a two-wheel drive vehicle.SOLUTION: Provided is a chassis dynamometer device 100 for testing a two-wheel drive vehicle 10, comprising: a drive wheel-side roller 2 on which the drive wheel 11 of the vehicle 10 is mounted; a follower wheel-side roller 3 on which the follower wheel 12 of the vehicle 10 is mounted; a drive wheel-side motive power absorbing unit 4 connected to the drive wheel-side roller 2; a follower wheel-side motive power absorbing unit 5 connected to the follower wheel-side roller 3; a brake force measuring unit 8 for measuring the brake force applied to the follower wheel-side roller 3 via the follower wheel-side motive power absorbing unit 5; and a control unit 6 for setting a control goal value for the motive power absorption of the follower wheel-side motive power absorbing unit 5 using the brake force measured by the brake force measuring unit 8, and controlling the drive wheel-side motive power absorbing unit 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
