Continuous palette loading system for piece goods - contains support modules on continuous traction mechanism in different planes

The loading system comprises a palette lifting stage, which is supplied with a layer of piece goods, in a preselected loading pattern. There are a goods conveyor; a palette conveyor at right angles to it; and a continuous support unit with sectional support modules. The modules are positioned on a continuous, moving traction mechanism. They support subsequent piece good layers; raise them, and then act as a transverse conveyor and roll-off plane, to move the layers above the lifting stage, and lower them. The modules then return to their original position.
